You may direct your gift to one or more of the following funds. Each is designed to meet one of the most pressing needs of Friendship Haven residents. You may also discuss with Denise Halverson, Director of Engagement any idea you have for a gift that helps Friendship Haven residents in another way or click here to give now.
Care Trust Fund - Friendship Haven’s Care Trust Fund is an endowed fund that provides for the monthly contract expenses of accommodations and care for those who have exhausted their resources.
Good Samaritan Fund- Gifts to the Good Samaritan Fund provide, on an as-needed basis, unplanned expenses such as special medical equipment. Proceeds can also be used for purposes similar to the Care Trust Fund. Both of these funds provide real peace of mind to our friends here and their families, and all recipients remain confidential.
In 2014 alone, we provided over $1.1M in charitable care, while only receiving $421,000.00 in benevolent care income. The pressure on these two funds remains great.
The beautification of our campus is the aim of the Arbor Fund. The “adoption” of trees or sitting benches helps ensure that our surroundings will always remain beautiful and provide the tranquil setting so many of us have always enjoyed. A gift of $300 for an engraved tree marker or $500 for an engraved sitting bench is a perfect way to honor a loved one with a gift In Memory of or In Honor of. In addition, there are opportunities to support our latest outdoor area, Jolin’s Terrace. A pleasant mix of therapy and recreation, the Terrace will be a focal point of healing and relaxation on our campus for years to come. Gifts are always needed to support the ongoing maintenance of the Terrace, as well as the entire campus.
Mission and Vision Fund
Formerly known as the “Area of Greatest Need”, your gift will address our most pressing needs on an ongoing basis.
Grateful Residents and Families Program
A nice way for those who are grateful for the care that they or their loved one has received to say thank you in a special way. Gifts can be directed to any of the funds mentioned above, and those monies then help ensure that others will be blessed with the same type of wonderful experience that you received.
