Our outstanding regional reputation is built on our full complement of wellness, medical, and on-site physical, occupational, restorative, and speech therapy services, designed to meet short-or long-term nursing care needs.
Simpson Health Center
Simpson Health Center is a licensed, Medicare/Medicaid-certified facility offering multiple levels of assistance. Residents receive 24-hour skilled nursing care for short and long-term needs in a positive atmosphere, with a seasoned staff prioritizing dignity and person-centered care. Each resident is carefully interviewed by an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best experience. Our comprehensive medical and nursing care is complemented by engaging activities that meet physical, spiritual, social, and emotional needs. Residents benefit from wellness initiatives, restorative therapy programs, an on-site pharmacy, and a courtesy van.
The center features 96 large, private rooms with private bathrooms, 32-inch TVs, and comfortable furniture. Residents can gather in common areas to socialize, watch TV, play cards, or enjoy the eat-in kitchen. Special meal requests and outdoor activities like gardening and watching sunsets are welcome. Family lounges provide space for celebrations or quiet moments, while activity spaces and aquatic therapy promote overall wellness. Each 16-resident household has an eat-in kitchen, living room, and spa room, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment.

Simpson Health Center boasts a dedicated restorative nursing staff who’ve received special training and certification by the Arthritis Foundation. Trilogy Therapy enables residents to maximize their range of motion and mobility.

We provide a specialized, secure neighborhood for older adults experiencing mid- and late-stage Alzheimer’s and other dementias, led by compassionate, highly trained, and supportive caregivers. The Memory Support program and environment are designed to meet the needs of residents diagnosed with dementia.

We work closely with local hospice agencies to provide end-of-life care and support for individuals and their families.

When people’s health needs change, the Journeys memory support neighborhood offers a safe, comfortable home.
At Journeys, we prioritize life-enriching activities and maintaining a sense of purpose. By providing supportive routines and nurturing each resident’s individual interests and abilities, our residents can feel productive, creative, and connected, while maintaining their safety.
At Journeys, we strike a balance between routine and fun, where impromptu cookie baking and nail polish parties have been known to happen. Our compassionate, creative staff have a knack for intuitively understanding the needs and wants of our residents, which creates a calm, comfortable environment for residents and the friends and family who visit.
